Overview
The Stewart Biology Building, one of the largest edifices on McGill University's downtown campus, was originally constructed in 1965. Currently, it is undergoing a significant transformation, including a complete reconfiguration of its West Wing to house new, state-of-the-art research and teaching laboratories. Laurentien Électrique is honored to lead the development phase of this prestigious project, adding another chapter to our longstanding partnership with McGill University.
Scope of Work
Laurentien Électrique is responsible for the full-scale electrical work in the redevelopment of the West Wing. This includes:
- Electrical installations for new research and teaching laboratories
- Advanced automation and lighting systems
- Installation of modern, energy-efficient power solutions
- Rigorous safety measures and testing protocols
