Overview
Laurentien Électrique is immensely proud to have been a part of Concordia University's extensive electrical modernization project. Completed in 2009, the 3-year venture involved a $39M budget and showcased our commitment to quality, safety, and innovative electrical solutions. From implementing advanced distribution networks to installing the world's first solar wall, the project stands as a testament to what can be achieved with the right expertise.
Scope of Work
This project was extensive and covered a wide range of electrical installations and upgrades, including:
- High and Low Voltage Networks: Set up of 347/600V and 120/208V systems.
- Backup Power: Generator installation.
- Utility Services: Electrical hookups for HVAC and other utilities.
- Lighting: Lutron-compatible interior and emergency lighting.
- General Electrical: Outlet installations.
- Fire Safety: Integrated fire alarm setup.
- Auxiliary Prep: Empty conduit networks for future systems.
- Innovation: Electrical work for the world's first solar wall.
